Kontomo makes it possible for users to access and enjoy content while having control over their own privacy and no need to create a user account. To manage your purchased access and customizations, we’ve developed technology that logs you in with a simple ID that is embedded in the URL. As long as you have your unique link (Pass ID), you can maintain your specific access for the Stage, even as you move between devices!
To guard your privacy, keep everyone’s costs low, maintain bandwidth efficiency, and help protect the earnings of the organizers and artists, only one active session per unique link is allowed.
If a new session is logged in with your unique link, older sessions will be automatically logged out.
Many anti-phishing services try to test a link before allowing the user to access the destination URL. This can cause your session to log out as soon as you arrive at the Stage because the anti-phishing service is basically impersonating a fake user. As described above, these methods are OK with most websites, but do not account for the way Kontomo balances giving you control of your privacy while maintaining security for the organizers and artists.
Fortunately, in most cases, anti-phishing services will record and remember whether a site is safe once it determines there are no problems.
Therefore, simply attempting a second time from the same unique link (Pass ID) in your email will allow you to log in to the Stage without problems.
You will not experience any of these issues if you access the Stage with your unique link (Pass ID) through a browser bookmark.
Some anti-phishing services try to rapidly test a link multiple times before allowing the user to access the destination URL. Particularly on iPadOS, this can cause your browser session to go into a harmless but annoying refresh ‘seizure’ as soon as you arrive at the Stage because the anti-phishing service is basically impersonating fake users trying to ‘rush through the virtual door’. As described above, these anti-phishing methods are OK with most websites, but do not account for the way Kontomo balances giving you control of your privacy while maintaining security for the organizers and artists.

Anti-phishing services typically rewrite destination URLs as they are processed through your email provider.
Clicking such links first sends the connection through the anti-phishing service. In turn, the service then tests the destination to determine whether the URL is malicious or not. If it is, the user is prevented from reaching any part of the destination site and is instead shown an obvious warning of the danger.
The log out screen from Kontomo is entirely safe, and it is NOT a message from the anti-phishing service.
Since anti-phishing services typically remember if a site is safe for at least a few minutes, subsequent attempts to with the same link should log you in to the Stage!
